Causes of flu

Flu is categorized into three groups:

  • Influenza C 
All these types of influenza are responsible for the flu symptoms. It might take more than two weeks to recover from flu with or without antibiotics.

General measures

A sick child must get enough of rest; your kids must sleep well, drink plenty of water, and eat a balanced and healthy food to boost the immune system. At least 8 to 10 glasses of water should be given to hydrate the mucus membrane. In addition, a nebulizer can help children to breathe comfortably, but make sure to keep their nostrils clean with saline nose drops.

As a healthy sign of the body's immune system, your child often catches fever. High temperature can kill and weaken bacterial and flu virus in the body its self defense system. Herbs play a vital role to support your immune system. A tincture along with Garlic, Echinacea and lemon balm or thyme or elder blossoms supports the immune system. Prevention

Elders, children, and people experiencing chronic diseases must get yearly antiviral drugs and vaccines. This can decrease the tenure of the flu. Some basic habits and flu remedies that help in the prevention of flu include:

  • Don’t touch your mouth, eyes, or nose with your hands after touching any object.
